Trip to 3 Gili Islands
Gili Islands are a popular destination in Indonesia. Located in the north west of Lombok, featuring three small, coral fringed islands; Gili Air, Gili Meno & Gili Trawangan, each with superb, white sandy beaches, clear water, coral reefs, brilliantly colored fish and the best snorkeling on Lombok.
Visitors, especially young European are attracted to the simple pleasures of sun, snorkeling, beautiful beaches, and socializing. The absence of cars, motorcycles, and hawkers adds greatly to the leisure of staying on the Gilis
This 6-8 hour trip begins with a visit to Gili Trawangan, the largest and liveliest of the Gili Islands. Here, indulge in snorkeling among colorful corals, diverse fish species, and even a turtle conservation center, all while soaking in the island’s vibrant atmosphere. Explore the island using a traditional horse-drawn carriage called “Cidomo” or by bicycle.
Next, venture to the serene Gili Meno, the smallest and quietest of the three islands. This picturesque location offers prime snorkeling opportunities and another turtle conservation center. As you stroll further inland, you’ll discover a unique lake and bird conservation center. Depending on your schedule, you may also choose to enjoy lunch here (at your own expense).
The final stop on this island-hopping adventure is Gili Air, situated closest to our resort. After exploring Gili Air and immersing yourself in its laid-back charm, you’ll sail back to the resort. It’s advisable to return by 5 pm at the latest. Please feel free to discuss your preferences with the boatman, who will gladly adjust the itinerary to accommodate your wishes.
