Nic (Director)

Boasting over 20 years of experience in hospitality, Nicola Scaramuzzino has successfully established a solid network across the board, particularly in Europe through his dedicated sales efforts.

Initially, Nic embarked on his career in Asia, specifically on the resort island of Bali, where he served as a customer service representative for the largest tour operator catering to the Italian market at that time. Subsequently, he took on a role as DOS for a luxury villa complex and later transitioned to a position as General Manager for a Boutique DMC specializing in FIT travel.

In between travel industry assignments, Nicola dabbled in travel industry IT services, broadening his skill set.

In 2006, a unique opportunity arose for him to widen his experience in a different field by venturing into the F&B realm. He took the reins as General Manager of the first gastronomy restaurant in Bali, excelling in this role for several years before relocating to Jakarta to work for a luxury hotel as F&B Director.

Returning to the travel world, his true passion, Nicola once again worked for a large inbound DMC in Jakarta, this time as Product & Marketing Director. Afterward, he moved to Bangkok and assumed the position of Country Manager for the same company. Finally, in 2022, Nicola found his way back home to Europe to launch Europe2Asia.

Nicola has obtained full Sustainable Tourism certification from Travelife.

Living in Europe again after exploring and knowing the odds and ends of Asia’s travel world, fluent in English, Italian, French and Bahasa Indonesia, Nicola is your ultimate ambassador on the continent.

Her academic journey in Public Relations, laid the foundation for her passion and expertise in crafting compelling narratives and building strong online communities.

A travel enthusiast at heart, Julia has lived in some of Asia’s most divers and dynamic places—Jakarta, Bali, and Bangkok—each experience weaving into her the rich cultural textures and diverse landscapes of the continent. Her adventure didn’t stop there; she has now made Italy her home, adding a European flair to her extensive Asian experience.
