Fly Direct: Rome to Kuala Lumpur & Penang with China Airlines

China Airlines has introduced a new way to reach Malaysia from Italy, not just to Kuala Lumpur but also to Penang. This exciting development was commented upon by Nor Azura Polit, the acting director of Tourism Malaysia Paris, who is responsible for France, Spain, Portugal, and Italy. She expressed that the summer of 2023 exceeded their expectations in terms of arrivals and they warmly welcome this new connection between the two countries.

Flight Details

Specifically, flights depart from Rome Fiumicino to Kuala Lumpur on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 10:45 AM (local time) and arrive in the Malaysian capital on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 1:15 PM (local time). The return flights are also direct, departing from Kuala Lumpur on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Sundays at 2:35 PM and arriving in Rome on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays at 7:45 AM.

A Stellar In-flight Experience

Passengers aboard can indulge in a gourmet menu designed by Le Palais, offering a star-studded tasting experience in the clouds. This marks the first time a three-star Michelin restaurant from Taiwan has ventured 30,000 feet into the sky, thanks to a collaboration with an airline. For children, infants, or those with specific dietary or religious restrictions, there are numerous options available, including vegetarian, vegan, Muslim, kosher, gluten-free, beef-free, and more.

The in-flight entertainment boasts high-definition on-demand multimedia, offering an exclusive selection of Italian-language films, TV programs, and music every month. Passengers have unlimited access to over a hundred movies onboard, ranging from the latest hits to timeless classics from around the world.

In conclusion, China Airlines’ new direct flights from Rome to Kuala Lumpur and Penang promise not only convenience but also a luxurious and memorable in-flight experience. As the world becomes more interconnected, such initiatives pave the way for enhanced cultural exchanges and mutual understanding.
